We spend our lives traveling America’s highways as PEVOs—Professional Escorts of Oversize Loads in the trucking industry. Our office isn’t in a building—it’s on backroads, interstates, truck stops, and in nearly 300 hotel rooms a year.

We’re not luxury travelers or food critics with expense accounts. We’re blue-collar road warriors who work hard, drive hard, and know what it’s like to hunt for a decent meal in unfamiliar towns night after night.

But food has always been part of who we are.

Before the trucking life, we were both chefs. So while we may live on the road now, we still carry trained palates, kitchen instincts, and a deep appreciation for food done right. We know flavor. We know technique. And we definitely know when something isn’t worth the calories.

And calories matter.

Together, we’ve lost over 600 pounds after both having gastric bypass surgery—a journey that completely changed the way we eat, cook, and live. These days, when we’re in the kitchen, we focus on healthy comfort food, smarter portions, high-protein meals, and sugar-free recipes that still bring big flavor.

Because healthy food should never taste like punishment.
